This Hot Dog topped with Peppers, Potatoes, and Mustard on a Torpedo Roll originated in the 1930's at the Casino Restaurant in Trenton. Served on a torpedo roll from Trenton's infamous Italian People's Bakery, the Trenton Animal Shelter celebrates the city's history, businesses, and animal shelter.
Amazing Mutt
The Amazing Mutt is a twist on two classic hot dog "breeds" that combined together make dogs that are officially known as "mutts". This Chili Cheese dog celebrates Amazing Mutts Puppy Rescue, an organization near and dear to our hearts as we have fostered and rescued many dogs from there including our mascot, Walter.
Colleton County
The Carolina Style Hot Dog topped with Mustard, Onions, Chili, and Cole Slaw brings a little southern comfort to New Jersey. This regional take also celebrates Colleton County Animal Services in South Carolina, which is where we rescued our dog Elle, who brings a little southern comfort to nursing homes and schools through her work as a therapy dog.
Marty's Place
Marty's Place is senior classic meatball sub in honor of Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary. This organization works to provide a safe, loving and protected environment for senior dogs in need of homes.
Pilots N' Paws
Right from the street carts of New York, this Sabrett's Hot Dog topped with Onions in Red Sauce, Mustard, and Sauerkraut highlights Pilots N' Paws. By pairing overcrowded shelters with pilots who donate their planes and time, Pilots N' Paws has saved countless dogs. This includes our former foster Bandit who now resides in the loving home

This Sausage w/Peppers & Onions shines a light on the Meals on Wheels of Mercer County Pet Pantry Program which helps ensure home bound seniors and their pets receive the food they need to in order to both stay healthy and happy while keeping these pets in their loving homes.
Hamilton Animal Shelter
This distinct Hot Dog is topped with Bacon Bits, Cheese, Sweet Chili Sauce, & Tater Tots recognizes the work of the Hamilton Animal Shelter to provide homes for animals in need.
Trenton Cats Rescue
We all know its Pork Roll and not Taylor Ham! Get that mistake wrong and we're ready to get our claws out. Speaking of claws, this classic sandwich stuffed with Pork Roll and Cheese highlights Trenton Cats Rescue and all they do to support cats in the city of Trenton.
EASEL
Based in Ewing, EASEL strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized in Mercer County through collaborative coalitions and community partnerships. We seek to highlight their efforts through a hearty collaboration of BBQ Pulled Pork topped w/Cole Slaw or Mac & Cheese.
About Our Shelter Specials
In order to promote the adoption of dogs near us in need, our menu focuses on highlighting local shelters/rescues and those we have a personal relationship with. However, we seek to support ALL efforts to help ALL animals find their loving furever homes and know this is done through many more efforts than listed here! We would love to partner with other rescues and shelters to host events, fundraiseand adoption days at the store. If you are a rescue or shelter interested please contact us below!
